Description
We are working exclusively with an award-winning, high growth tech company within the IoT & Analytics space for off-highway equipment management. As a standalone company backed by industry leaders within the Construction & Mining Industries, they are primed for growth and are seeking a UK Product Manager to work on a hybrid-basis out of their London Bridge offices.
Reporting directly to the Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for taking the initiative in defining and managing the product roadmap for your team, working closely with design, engineering, data science, and key stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are driving towards the main goal, and always shifting the needle on successful KPIs to deliver the best product for clients & customers.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand pain-points and lead the team in the creation of user stories
- Take high-level feature proposals and customer problems and break them into small iterations that engineering can work on
- Prioritise important features systematically and properly by considering the business impact
- Ensure alignment with the product strategy, through enhancements to the existing product, new features, and thinking scalable for the future
- Conduct planning, refinement, and stand-ups with the team; provide guidance and feedback to engineers and designers; ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards one goal
- Manage the uncertainty in an efficient way, adjusting plans to new working conditions and helping to create refined processes within a start-up environment
- Communicate and evangelise your product vision internally and among the wider community
Requirements
- 2-4 years experience within a Product Management field
- Previous experience of working on end-to-end Products within a Start-Up or 0-1 environment
- You are self-driven and able to take the initiative, this role will require you to be hands on and 'in the weeds' during the development phases!
- Strong communication skills, working alongside clients who may not be the most 'tech-savvy' and also communicating with offshore tech teams on requirements and specifications.
