Our client is one of Google Cloud's premier partners in AI, they provide large enterprise clients with cutting-edge data solutions in the cloud, by combining expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics.
As a Cloud Trainer, you will join the newly created academy, a new internal venture to train exceptional individuals in Data and AI, to help them turbo-charge their careers with Google Cloud. With courses covering Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, DevOps Engineering and BI Development, the Academy offers specialist training to help enterprise businesses achieve tangible impact with their Data and AI projects.
We are building a team of expert Cloud Trainers to deliver training sessions for students at different levels and across a number of subject areas and disciplines. You will also work closely with the Academy founders to advise and support on content development for courses, bringing initiative and a constant awareness of recent developments in Cloud technology (GCP experience not essential) and related tools and frameworks. This includes liaising with other internal teams, e.g. Account Management, Technical teams and coordinating upskilling course customisation to suit clients’ specific needs.
You will be the lead trainer for incoming new hires to the academy training team - helping to onboard them and upskill their delivery, training capabilities and Cloud / GCP knowledge. For that reason, this is not a ‘passenger’ role. Proactivity, opinions and ideas are essential and encouraged - we want to build a team that is passionate about helping people turbo-charge their career in tech and excited to make it happen, creating training materials for students at multiple levels and across multiple subject areas, including for trainers (delivery focused, not just content, plus delivering training sessions both virtually and in-person to groups of students, providing one-on-one coaching and support to students in between sessions, coordinating with other teams (especially Account Management and Technical) and clients to customise course content.
Ideally you'll possess experience working as a Cloud Trainer (GCP / Google Cloud, AWS, Azure), with experience creating training materials and delivering group training sessions (virtual and/or in-person) and an excellent understanding of machine learning and/or data engineering, a detailed awareness of modern cloud-native infrastructure principles, experience deploying and optimising models to cloud, a thorough understanding of CI/CD principles and a passion for Data & AI in general.
Most importantly to our client is to find the right people to fit with their creative and collaborative culture. A full and generous benefits package is provided, with choice of tech hardware, pension scheme, team bonus, private healthcare, employee assistance program, discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme, personal learning budget, career progression, regular monthly social events, paid lunch (once a week) and team drinks (once a week), access to an inhouse research & development hub, a hybrid working model and modern office setting in an innovation hub with complimentary fruit, snacks, lunch and drinks with panoramic views of London.
